About HSC 2026 Under the Madrasah Board (Alim)
Alim candidates take the HSC-equivalent exam under the Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board. In 2026, 92,905 candidates sat the exam (52,011 boys and 40,894 girls) in 461 centres, up 6,803 from last year. Most are in the Humanities group (84,616), followed by Science (7,626) and Mujabbid (663). The madrasah board had the highest pass rate of all boards in both 2024 (93.40%) and 2025 (75.61%).
On the Bangla 1st Paper exam day (6 July 2026), the inter-board attendance report showed 83,333 registered candidates, 78,181 present and 5,152 absent (absence rate 6.18%) in this board.
HSC Result 2026 Madrasah Board (Alim) Date
The result of all 11 boards, including the Madrasah Board (Alim), is published on the same day. On 12 October 2026, the chairman of the Dhaka Education Board and president of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee, Professor Syed Akhtaruzzaman, said that the boards had proposed any day between 25 and 29 October.
