Rajshahi board has 7,578 more candidates than last year: 1,40,830 in 2026 against 1,33,252 in 2025. It is the only general board where boys (73,057) outnumber girls (67,773). The exams were held in 208 centres across 8 districts. In HSC 2025, Rajshahi produced the second-highest number of GPA-5 (10,137) after Dhaka.
On the English 1st Paper exam day (6 July 2026), the inter-board attendance report showed 1,32,213 registered candidates, 1,28,691 present and 3,522 absent (absence rate 2.66%) in this board.
